Our check in location in Anchorage is on Merrill Field, a smaller airport located about 20 minutes from the international airport. This will be at our sister company, Lake Clark Air, at their office at, 2541 Merrill Field Dr. Please note that if you search "The Farm Lodge, Lake Clark Air, or Lake Clark Resort" into your phone, you will be directed next door to Lake Clark Air's Freight Office. Please use the address listed above.
Parking is available for $5 a day, yet limited at Lake Clark Air on Merril Field for standard vehicles only (no motorhomes).
Our kitchen staff are trained to work with food allergies and diets such as gluten free, vegetarian, paleo, vegan, etc. Because of our remote location, we do need to know allergies and aversions well in advance to have special diet food on hand
Due to bear spray being a hazardous material, it is not permitted on flight from Anchorage to Port Alsworth and vice verse. However, there are cans available to borrow or buy from our gift shop at the lodge to use on local hikes.

Lake Clark Resort strives to keep you safe during your adventures with us, with that being said, sometimes tours get cancelled due to unsafe weather conditions. Because of this, we highly recommend the purchase of travel insurance. Many of our guests use AAA. No matter which service you select, be sure you select a policy that has "cancel for any reason".
It is good to bring bug repellent and a head net if you would like. How bad the bugs are can vary on the month and year.
Lake Clark Resort provides a suggested packing list once a reservation is completed. We recommend packing a warm layering system, rain gear, hats and gloves (in August and September), hiking shoes, lounge shoes, and comfortable wear around the Resort.
The sooner the better! We have a limited number of rooms, aircraft, and tours available. To get your desired dates, we recommend booking a year to year and a half in advance. We are currently booking for the rest of the 2025 season-2027.
Three style rooms: standard, queen suite, king suite.
The standard rooms are configured with one queen bed, and a twin bunk bed. Amenities include: shower, toilet, sink, hairdryer, table, microwave, mini fridge, wall mounted convection heater, instant coffee pot.
Queen suites also include one queen bed and a twin bunk bed, as well as a separate sitting room. Amenities include: shower, toilet, hair dryer, desk, couch, table, lofted reading nook, kitchenette, instant coffee pot, and in floor heating. Perfect for those with longer stays or photographers needing a bit more space for work.
King suites consist of two bedrooms, two bathrooms. Amenities include: king bed, bunk bed with full on bottom and twin on top, kitchenette with sink, instant coffee pot, microwave, mini fridge, glassware, couch, black out blinds in bedrooms, shower/tub combo, hair dryer.
