Service Description
This tour is designed for those who want to do it all. We have had many guests ask, what would you recommend for someone who wants to see all the best of what Alaska has to offer in a two-week stay? Our answer, the Ultimate Alaska Adventure. Day 1: -3:30 p.m. check in at Anchorage, Merrill Field for Lake Clark scenic tour. The tour (approximately 1 hour) takes you through the scenic Lake Clark Pass, where you will see glaciers and glacial streams in one of Alaska’s most beautiful mountainous settings, ending at The Farm Lodge and Lake Clark Resort on Lake Clark. -Check in to Lake Clark Resort. Lodging includes a room with private bath, home-cooked Alaskan meals,* and daily housekeeping. Day 2: -Guided bear viewing. Travel to Brooks Camp Katmai Park National Park where you will spend an exciting day viewing and photographing Alaska’s notorious Brown Bears feeding and interacting in their natural environment. This day also includes a tour over the Valley of 10,000 Smokes if weather permits. Day 3: -Fire and Ice Tour. This day takes you over and into some of Lake Clark National Park and Preserve’s most rugged and breathtaking landscapes. The day includes time on remote mountain lakes for exploring and sightseeing. Day 4: -Guided tour of Katmai National Park and Preserve’s mountain lakes. This day includes stops at remote lakes for exploring and photography. Day 5: -Cook Inlet Coastal Tour. This day takes you by special bush-equipped wheeplane over and into some of Lake Clark National Park and Preserve’s most rugged and breathtaking landscapes. The day includes time at remote locations for exploring and sightseeing focusing on glacial landscape, active volcanoes, and coastal brown bear habitat. Day 6: -Guided bushplane tour of Katmai National Park and Preserve. This day includes stops at remote locations for exploring and photography. The day also includes a stop(s) in the Valley of 10,000 Smokes for hiking and sightseeing if weather permits. Day 7: -Guided boat tour on Lake Clark. Sitting in the foothills of the Chigmit Mountains, Lake Clark is over 40 miles long and offers access to spectacular scenery. Day 8: -Alaska Peninsula Coastal Tour (longer flying day). This tour takes you by bushplane to explore the Alaska Peninsula/Bering Sea coast. The day includes stops on the beach for exploring and photography. The day also includes a stop at one of the area’s critical walrus haul outs if weather permits. Day 9: -Local unguided hiking to the Lake Clark

Full payment is due in order to lock in a reservation. Payments are not refundable for any reason, including medical or weather related cancellations. Lake Clark Resort will always do our best to provide a safe and enjoyable experience, but we encourage you to purchase a trip insurance policy for any unforeseen or unplanned cancellations. If you are planning a visit, please be aware that you can lock in the current rates on a future trip by making your payment now.
